PSYCHLOPS Kids:
PSYCHLOPS Kids is a version of PSYCHLOPS for children aged 7-13 years. It is a unique self-completed questionnaire designed specifically for use in therapy with this age group.
Copies of PSYCHLOPS KIDS questionnaires are available here:
- PSYCHLOPS Kids is colourful and child friendly and most of the items are selected with the aid of emoticon faces. It also allows children to express themselves creatively when answering the questions if they wish to.
- PSYCHLOPS Kids was developed with the help of Roundabout Dramatherapy at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.

PSYCHLOPS Teen is a new version of PSYCHLOPS for young people aged 13-16 years.
It is a unique self-completed questionnaire designed specifically for use in therapy with this age group.

It has been developed with Roundabout Dramatherapy but is suitable for use with other types of therapy.
PSYCHLOPS-Teen can be downloaded from the website free of charge. If you are using it with young teenagers, we would like to hear back from you about your experience and how useful you found the questionnaire.

Electronic PSYCHLOPS:
CORE IMS are pleased to announce the addition of the popular PSYCHLOPS ideographic outcome measure to the suite of measures available in CORE Net; the secure, flexible, web based patient outcomes management system: admin@coreims.co.uk
The electronic version of PSYCHLOPS, ePSYCHLOPS, was developed in collaboration with CORE-Net, with IT development, Information Governance and data storage led by the CORE IMS team. The visual appearance of ePSYCHLOPS can be seen opposite. The beauty of ePSYCHLOPS is that all freetext responses on PSYCHLOPS will auto-complete in the During-Therapy and Post-Therapy versions, removing the need for transcribing the freetext. Scoring and change scores have also been automated. Future versions will incorporate graphical displays of change scores. Pioneer feedback will be incorporated into future versions. Formal launch of ePSYCHLOPS expected end 2018.
The Heartlands HIV Service at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, have become the first ‘pioneer’ therapist team to pilot an electronic version of PSYCHLOPS: http://www.hivbirmingham.nhs.uk/
Other pioneers joined us in piloting ePSYCHLOPS; piloting was completed at the end of 2018.
